Nutrisystem has signed Melissa Joan Hart, 36, actress, writer, producer, director, singer and mother of three, as its newest brand ambassador. Having been named the “Best Convenience” diet by USA TODAY, Hart is best known for her title roles in the television series Clarissa Explains It All (1991–94), the live action version of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996–2003) and is currently starring in the ABC Family comedy series Melissa & Joey (2010–present).

Having recently given birth to her third child, the longtime actress has already lost twenty pounds on Nutrisystem. “I love working with Nutrisystem. The Program is really delivering results for me and I look forward to long term success, staying motivated and helping others do the same,” remarked Ms. Hart.

Adam Lambert will be the headline performer at the Fifth Annual Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade and Festival, Sunday, April 14, 2013. He will perform for Pride-goers from the Main Stage in Lummus Park just off Ocean Drive between 11th and 12th Streets. His performance is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. A finalist on the eighth season of the immensely popular American Idol, Lambert‘s 2009 album For Your Entertainment debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, Top 10 in numerous countries worldwide and featured the singles “For Your Entertainment,” “Whataya Want from Me” and “If I Had You.”

The album has gone on to sell more than two million copies and nearly five million singles worldwide. Soon after the album release, Lambert headlined a worldwide concert tour, Glam Nation, becoming the first American Idol contestant to immediately tour worldwide. Lambert’s 2012 album Trespassing bettered his first album by debuting at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart – making Lambert the first openly gay artist with an album at the top of the charts.

Opinionated and artistic, the 19-year-old California native was recently named Miss Golden Globe 2013 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Denzel Washington has been voted the Top Money-Making Star of 2012 in Quigley Publishing Company’s 81st Annual Poll of Motion Picture Exhibitors. This is Washington’s eighth appearance in the Quigley Poll, and his first win. Exhibitors felt Washington was responsible for more traffic to movie theatres than any other Hollywood star this year based on his performances in “Flight” and “Safe House.” Washington is the fourth black American to win the Poll, joining Will Smith (2005), Eddie Murphy (1987) and Sidney Poitier (1968). In 81 years, eight women have been voted first in the Top Ten a total of sixteen times, with Julie Andrews, Doris Day, Shirley Temple and Marie Dressler winning multiple times.

Callan McAuliffe is awarded the 2012 GQ MEN OF THE YEAR by GQ Magazine. At his 17, Callan mentioned as their youngest ever winner in history of the GQ awards. In 2012, Callan filmed three feature films in three countries including The Great Gatsby. He has just wrapped the lead role in multi-award winning and Emmy Nominated director, Aron Gaudet’s, Blue Potato, a coming of age story of two young French Canadians (slated for release 2013). Earlier in 2012 Callan, along with Anthony La Paglia and Rachel Griffiths, flew to Melbourne to film Underground. Callan played the guest lead role of “Prime Suspect” – historically known as the best friend to Julian Assange as they hacked into the Pentagon at age 17.
