Nicole Kidman: Overpaid?

According to Forbes.com, Kidman among other celebrities demand a big paycheck, but their box office numbers often disappoint. Despite her international fame and Best Actress Oscar, Kidman can’t seem to find a crowd-pleasing project. Bewitched earned $132 million worldwide but cost $84 million to make, including Kidman’s $12 million salary. The Golden Compass’ poor opening weekend could hurt her in future salary negotiations. For each dollar she got paid, Nicole Kidman‘s movies averaged $8 of gross income.
