Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is a semiannual fashion week held in New York City. It is one of four major fashion weeks in the fashion industry. The Spring 2009 Fashion Week was held September 5–12 last year, the Fall 2009 Fashion Week was held February 13–20, 2009, and the upcoming Spring 2010 Fashion Week will be held September 10–17, 2009. And what I want to mention right now is the upcoming show only. Admission is by invitation only, to the fashion industry, fashion press, assorted celebrities, and internet based Fashion press (e.g. District L, Fashionista, FWD). And the On-Line Press and Industry Registration is now open, so hurry up act now. The even will be start in less than three week from now.

In the past, this fashion week was called Press Week to showcase American designers for fashion journalists which was successfully attracting fashion magazines like Vogue to feature American fashion. The current site for the event is Bryant Park, a privately-managed public park located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. But starting 2010, the event will be hosted in Damrosch Park at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, still in New York.
