UPTOWN Magazine 2010 Style Issue Features Cover Girl Naomi Campbell

The 2010 Style issue of Uptown Magazine (on newsstands August 24th) features cover model Naoni Campbell and an in-depth look at the current state of the fashion industry and the lack of African American faces on the runways and advertising. The issue also features four African American designers that are making their mark.
“Uptown’s Style issue takes a head-on look at the disparity, success and contradictions that African Americans face in the fashion business,” said Brett Wright, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. “We have always been on the cutting edge of fashion trends, now we have to get ahead of the curve on business.”
