Calvin Klein Underwear announced that acclaimed actress Zoe Saldana will be featured in the women’s Fall 2010 Calvin Klein Underwear global advertising campaign. Ms. Saldana most recently captured the attention of moviegoers as Neytiri in “Avatar,” and went on to receive a total of nine 2010 Academy Awards nominations. The Fall 2010 Calvin Klein Underwear campaign was shot by renowned fashion photographer Mikael Jansson in New York City. The Fall 2010 media campaign will be comprised of a strategic mix of print, digital, and outdoor advertising timed to coincide with October 2010 magazine issues.

The Estée Lauder brand announced that it has signed two of fashion’s brightest runway and editorial stars as new global faces of Estée Lauder. French model Constance Jablonski and Chinese model Liu Wen will join Estée Lauder’s roster of global beauties – Hilary Rhoda, Carolyn Murphy, Elizabeth Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow – and debut in its global advertising campaigns beginning June 2010.

If you’re laughing now at Britney Spears, will you be laughing in coming years when, heaven forbid, one of your lovely family members including your niece, uncle, sister, brother, even your mother or your own son or daughter loses control of his or her life? Will it be funny then? Celebrity is a human being, and everybody is entitled to empathy and kindness.
